You have seen the front of the watch, where the bezel insert was ground away (motorsports related - "the essence" :-) ). With these pics, you may be able to see that the majority of the damage was done to the front of the insert. Pretty amazing that the bezel itself did not take the brunt of the damage. Even in these pics, it is hard to convey how little the damage really affects the look of the watch. Maybe I am just trying to convince myself.
