I certainly agree that this is an amazing hobby and one thing I have learned it's that if you wait long enough that elusive piece will eventually turn up. And it has for me. Thanks to a good watch buddy and friend, I was offered the chance to buy this Carrera 2447 SNT with slightly faded/dark chocolate registers. I jumped at the chance. If you have been chasing 2447 Carrera's as long and hard as I have then you may understand my excitement at receiving this watch. I know of one other with similar dark brown registers that resides in New York City (occasionally seen climbing up the outside of the city's sky scrapers) and there are others out there just not very many so this one is certainly a highlight of my year so far (not sure what can surpass this but as the avid collector there is always hope). One feature of the watch is the number 52 engraved into the case back. If anyone knows the significance of this please let me know.
Best regards
Paul
