Man, I didn't realize it was Emil Mosbacher's watch!! I was wondering what the Intrepid was for and whether that text was added in the 1980s for Intrepid Powerboats.

I was the underbidder on it when it sold on November 9 for $750 before premium. I would have bid more if I knew the story.
The seller on eBay has bought a number of watches at random auctions in the northeast and sold them on eBay for a big premium.
