: Is it a famous surfer or just a local....?
People on the beach said that he was a pro surfer. Nobody told me who he was and I am not good with names anyway. This was right at sundown. This picture is really from earlier in the year. We are out in LA to see our son and we were at the beach yesterday to watch my son and his friend surf but the pictures weren't as good as this in the mid-day light so after seeing Jeff's great La Jolla beach scene I went back to the 2014 archives for this shot.
