... isn't a Heuer. Nor even a watch. My Heuers have been static for a while now. I'm still interested and happy to field queries, but I'm pretty happy with where the collection stands.
Getting there with Oakley Juliets too, I guess, but there are still a few models I want to add. Titanium alloy frame, it speaks to me from a material and from a manufacture perspective.
Another 6 have arrived since this pic too. I'm more open to customs than I am for Heuers - the one near the back on the right is copper-plated (and then clear-coated, I don't want to wear copper next to the skin), for example. And pink lenses were never available for the Juliet, but are for some other Oakleys - those are OEM lenses, cut to fit the Juliet.
I've also gone back to an earlier collection to fill in some gaps - the Autocourse annuals that inspired my Carrera collection in the first place. Some of the magazine format editions from the '50s but also the '66 and '67 annuals (with dust jackets intact). I'll go through and look at the drivers' watches at some point.
What I focus on collecting in 2015 remains to be seen. Revisiting an existing collection or maybe something new, I'm yet to decide.
