2014 was marked by the expansion of my collection into automatic Autavia's for the first time.
As a fan of the traditional Heuer manual cases of the '60's, I stuck to manual Autavias. That changed when I bought one of Bernard DeVos's many Viceroy Autavia's on a bit of whim. I loved it. That led to a purchase of a 11630 GMT from Abel at Heuer Time, which I also fell in love with.
The capstone was, of course, a 1163t Siffert which I traded for towards the end of the year.
All great watches that have taken a disproportionate amount of wrist time in 2014 and will continue to do so in 2015.
