I was the buyer, and emailed a few folks with red needles to confirm the serial. I actually found one only 40 away.

I have been wanting this watch for a long time, but they don't come up for sale often. I tried a viceroy twice but could never connect with the color scheme.

To make a long story short, the 1163 GMT was the first vintage watch I had owned back in late 2007, purchased for $1,800 at Central Watch here in NYC (which they had polished to a fine pebble… little did I know then). I landed my first job out of college as a real estate financial analyst in mid 2007, and eventually sold it when the market got really bad for a small loss. Wish I still had it ever since.
