$2,500 for a Ref 73323? With All Due Respect . . . Insane

I watch these out of the corner of my eye, and only occasionally focus on them more closely, so I do not track the market prices on an ongoing basis. Still, this seems like an insane price for a two-register "Economy" chronograph.

By the way, we now have published a Reference Table for these "Economy Models" -- http://onthedash.com/docs/EconomyReferenceTable.html

: Dear Readers - I am also looking at a Heuer 73323 with a Valj 7733
: movement. It is a great looking watch in what appears to be
: original condition. How can I identify the date of the watch and
: how much can a mint version of this watch be worth? The seller
: wants $2500 which seems high. Andew
