$1382 Price / So What Price for Comparable Omega ?

The $1382 street price for this one seems very attractive. Other TAG-Heuer Classics are priced well above that mark, if I am correct.

I am curious . . . many people have said that this Carrera looks too much like an Omega. Can any of our Omega friends tell us whether TAG-Heuer might be pricing this one specifically to compete with a comparable Omega chrono?
