Wearing this Omega Seamaster ref. 145.023 "Anakin Skywalker" this morning.
I still think Heuer made some of the best watches ever.
But Omega produced some fantastic pieces as well.
Recently I got interested in some vintage Omega's when discovering the Chuck Maddox story.
I immediately felt I had to look for some of the watches he was so crazy about.
I started with a Speedmaster ref. 145.022-69 ST, then a Seamaster ref. 145.024 "Jedi".
With some great help from Carlo I finally found this "Anakin Skywalker" with one of the best looking dials I have ever seen ( on any watch ).
Case has the very hard but brittle tungstun material, so dropping it on your tile floor is really not a good idea.
