I followed your advise and visited a watchmaker during lunch today, allowing me to take photos of the inside. Is it possible to identify the model based on those pics?
Regards, Charles
: Distinguishing between the Reference 346, 2443 and 2447 can be
: an infuriating undertaking, but you have a fantastic looking
: watch (and a great keepsake) which reference it may be.
: The Reference 2447 used the smaller Valjoux 72 movement (13 Ligne)
: and had more angular lugs; the Reference 346 used the larger
: Valjoux 71 movement (14 Ligne), with more rounded lugs.
: The curved lugs of your suggest Reference 346, but it's difficult
: to tell from one photo. If you can get to a good watchmaker, and
: send or post a photo of the movement and the inside of the
: case-back, we might learn more.
