It seems that there is also some confusion about the involvement / approval of TAG Heuer (Switzerland) and the role of the agent or distributor for Italy.
While I have no information at all about this issue, it is interesting that we have had the same discussion about other so-called Heuers, from the 1970s, a couple of which are shown below.
