: Gents,
: Scored on ebay: what I believe to be a true first exec 844 Monnin.
: It has serial 1835
: It has a bezel with the original layout as per the 1979 brochure.
: It has cathedral hands
: BUT:
: It has a second hand with a large lollipop, which I like
: It has no red 13/24 markings, which I pity
: It has no "made in france", which I dont mind
: I've found #1917 which has the exact same configuration: currently
: for sale in Hannover.
: Any earlier numbers in the community?

I have this one with the serial 1714. Seems to be the exact same version as yours including the slightly off lume on the hour index.
I have had another one as well, that now lives with another Swedish Heuer collector, with the serial 1903. That one was missing its original bezel insert so I fitted one from a newer version. Otherwise it was the exact same with cathedral, lollipop, missing Made in France and with lume that was a little off.
