I agree that Longines should have excluded the date window. I love the added third chrono register, but the date makes it overly busy. Still, it looks great.
I don't like the dial of the new Pelagos at all, way too much text, like they were so proud of their in-house movement they had to brag about it. In terms of aesthetics, I much prefer the first version which, already had too much text. But you get a COSC movement in new version, which doesn't mean much to me for a tool watch.
