Amazing to see this one "in the metal". Of course, we have puzzled over the catalog image and wondered whether this one actually exists, in this configuration. Of course, in addition to being super rare, this one is beautiful to behold . . . a fantastic color scheme, and a beautiful shape, with this bezel being a very useful tool!!

Congratulations on bringing this one into the family; we hope that you will enjoy wearing it; and, of course, it will be great to see some additional "angles" when it arrives in your hands!!

: Just landed myself this gorgeous, and dare I say rare, bright
: orange beauty.

: Appears to be the last series of the 1163 cased divers with serial
: 2247xx. Earlier models had applied markers and orange tipped
: steel hands. This has lume markers and painted hands similar to
: the 11630P.
: The 1972 brochure lists this as a 11630P but the picture shows the
: 1163 case and bezel, combined with this lume dial. Hands are the
: earlier steel version.
