: Okay. Think I made a huge mistake here on my Old Heuer 980.013 :(
: My problem is I cant get the stem and crown to re-insert properly.
: I can now just pull the crown and stem out.
: I think i forgot to have the watch in second position when i did
: the stem removal.
: The watch is running and i can now set the time even though crown
: is all the way in and the crown can just be pulled right off.
: Can this be fixed ?
: Peter
Hi Peter,
Yes it can be fixed but it appears you've messed up the keyless works and it will unfortunately mean the dial and hands need removing in order to access that part of the movement,
Sure a local watchmaker to you will be able to sort it easily enough, good luck,
Best,
James.
