: Were there any of the Poly backs marked as Ed Heuer on the inside ?
: My perception was the earliest Ed Heuer marked Carrera's all had
: slotted casebacks & it was the first of the Heuer Leonidas
: that had the Poly backs ??? Am i correct in my assumption or
: have there been examples in each style.

Answere from Mark some time ago:
we're aware of a number of Carreras in the 53xxx and 54xxx range, but these usually have round screw backs rather than the poly casebacks we find in the 56xxx range.
my poly is signed Ed Heuer & Co Swiss
cheers Mich
