Hi Paul,
unfortunately I don't own the watch which belongs to the paperwork. But I have to point out that it is very generous that you are willing to unite the papers and the watch for free. Although I am a rather new and inexperienced member of the forum, and it's certainly not up to me to make such statements, I think this is a very positive example for the true spirit of this forum. Well done!
Regards,
Robert
: The first of my Carrera 1153 challenges is to see if we reunite a
: set of original papers with its corresponding watch. I was
: gifted these papers by a fine gentleman here in the UK and as
: you can see from the images below they belong to a 1153N serial
: number 221307. The official tag has the date at 12 May 1971 and
: the World wide service book shows the purchase date at 31
: January 1972 completed by one JWA Ireland from Scotland.
: It would give me great pleasure to gift these papers to the current
: owner where they truly belong. So check you serial numbers and
: post an image of the matching watch and they are yours.
: Regards
: Paul
