I have just read that Eric has joined Christie's New York watch department as Vice President, Senior Specialist. Here is the press release:

I met Eric a few times and most memorably when he and his good wife joined the last Heuer summit in Switzerland.
He is a wonderful, sincere and down to earth person and I am thrilled for him and this move because he has a passion for watches like know one else I know.
