Sold at $10,099, 18 karat gold Carrera, Reference 2456 Tachymeter, and with the original papers (store receipt showing serial number and date of purchase) and the special box, it may have been a bit of a bargain, at that price.

A couple of friends asked for my views on the value of this one. I suggested that it could go in the $11K to $12K range, with anything less being a good buy.

Let's hope that it comes into the OTD family!!
