So you were right, they are different. Mine have 32 knurls:
: Robert the serial number is 104195.
I am no serial number expert, but it seems to be rather late. My 2447 Tachy is a lot earlier: s/n 6936X.
My 2nd execution 2447 S is s/n 12051X.
Maybe one of the real experts can tell us in which serial number range the transition from first to second execution (hands, markers...) happened for the 2447. I personally still believe that the Tachy version should have the shortened first execution hands, even if it is a late serial number. But with vintage Heuers, you never know for sure...
