Re: Heuer 2447 Tachy
In Response To: Re: Heuer 2447 Tachy ()

Hi Ross,

: I count 24 knurls on the crown.

So you were right, they are different. Mine have 32 knurls:

: Robert the serial number is 104195.

I am no serial number expert, but it seems to be rather late. My 2447 Tachy is a lot earlier: s/n 6936X.

My 2nd execution 2447 S is s/n 12051X.

Maybe one of the real experts can tell us in which serial number range the transition from first to second execution (hands, markers...) happened for the 2447. I personally still believe that the Tachy version should have the shortened first execution hands, even if it is a late serial number. But with vintage Heuers, you never know for sure...

Best regards,
Robert
