Before I get a lecture on leaving a watch with all its dings and scratches alone as it adds character, this post is meant for those that like me (if any) prefer the characterless souless look of minty crystals. Or at least be able to read the dial without experiencing the effects of cataracts before one actually gets it.
Product below gives a mirror finish on my plexi crystals such that under a 20x gemstone quality loupe it is still a mirror finish. Of course it works by polishing off material so if there are deep scratches you might want to live with those otherwise you end up with a super thin crystal. For deeper scratches i use brasso (brass polish) to wear it down faster until i get an even haze and the apply this stuff with 5 mins of polishing. Crystal becomes crystal clear and mirror smooth surface.
Beats getting a non original crystal if you cant find an original one.
There are other products but this is what i have just tried.
