Fascinating to see these beautiful photos and especially to get the "back story" . . . how the various photos are taken, their purpose, and the dynamics behind them. Maybe next year, I can volunteer, to be your "grip"!!
The last photo in your posting, of Montoya from the odd angle, is very compelling!!
I remember seeing him at Road Atlanta, in the early 1990s, in a very low level of racing (single A of the minor leagues, in baseball) . . . if the PA announcer recited the names of racers 100 times, 30 of them were Montoya . . . he was already a phenom, and everyone knew that he would be great!! Of course, the Indy 500 wins validate this assessment!!
