Enjoyed the read thoroughly! Great to get a glimpse of the man behind the dash. Its been such an invaluable tool since I got into collecting Heuers. No I did not come from rolex. I have tool watches. Each specific to function/pasttime/hobby. Coolest previous watch was a special race chrono from casio with a cable trigger to take laptimes while driving (had no budget for pit crew in those days). Liked it so much bought 3. Still have one. Guess its nos as i havent even opened the box since i still have the 2 that i used before.
