From my rallying days *PIC*

The map shows part of the route of Hereford Evening News Rally on 19/20 May 1973, and I would have been wearing my Carrera 7753.

This sort of rallying is mainly timed to the minute, with perhaps two or three sections timed to the second, so the decimal version would not have helped.
A better driver, better car and yes better navigator would though.
