I hadn't heard of the series, it looks really interesting. Thanks for posting (and apologies for delayed response).
One other film I remember which had a big focus on vintage watches (Rolex unfortunately) and hi-fi was the classic Hong Kong film Infernal Affairs (remade in the west, but not as good). Fantastic film, even without the watches...
