Further research and reading is required, but a couple of friends have suggested that it was this Omega Constellation, designed by Gerald Genta in the mid-1960s, that gave us the shape that the Autavia would use, starting in 1969!!
The "C-Shaped" Constellation was released as model 168.009 in December 1964.

: Heuer could be successful with the right re-issues of the
: Autavia. Perhaps a "Big Sub" in a 1960s style case and
: a macho looking black-coated model, in this type of case.
