What a watch!! What a photo!!
I love Jack Heuer's back-story on this execution of the Carrera. Fisher was a major supplier of equipment for scientific laboratories, and the Fisher catalog included a lot of Heuer stopwatches. Some of the laboratory managers requested that Heuer produce some Carreras to be included in the Fisher catalog, and we are left to wonder how many of these Carreras remained in the laboratories and how many made their way onto the managers' wrists . . . permanently!!
