Hi, I'm looking for anyone who owns a manual Carrera (Valjoux, 1970s) in the UK (or Europe), model 73353, 73453 or 73653 (or 73655 even).
I have a case which is unnumbered and unmarked and have been trying hard to locate a case back for it, I have a slight concern though, that it could be a non-standard size case. So far I have tried an automatic 1153 case back, which is too big. (This was a surprise for some people, and not so for others).
What I'm hoping to do is send it to someone for a side by side comparison with another Carrera. A case back test would be ideal, but even a visual comparison to check the sizes would be extremely useful! Trying to find a manual case back alone has been very tough so far, so I'd just like to know I'm not wasting my time-any help is gratefully received!
Many thanks
Steve
