I agree it really looks like a calculator. No idea why he lost the outer bezel, strange.

Very interesting observation. The current head of design at BMW also wears a cal12 Heuer Calculator. I wonder if it is just the obvious choice for a car designer, or it is a reference or homage to the father of the corvette?
