Jeff,
I will probably wear this as a conversation piece to take driver portraits in the studio before the season starts but I hate wearing gold or any great watches to the track. My work at the track invariably scratches things. I made one of our brand new $13,000 Nikkor 400 2.8 fluorite lenses look pretty used this season and I don't want that to happen to this watch.
