Did early Carreras ever have "thin" lume filled hands?

Question for you experts, did the early manual wind Carreras ever have hands with a thinner lume beds or lume fill than what is typical on 60s Carreras? Specifically, I have seen two 3647N's now that have a handset that has more narrow lume beds on them, were these ever original? I think I've seen this style hands, which also appears to have a slightly different/fatter tail as well on some of the similar or "poor mans Carreras". Are people just stealing the hands off of the lesser expensive models to replace worn out hands on Carreras?

The "thinner" lumed hands in question:

Thanks in advance for any information!
