Just like Jeff who found a rare all lume dial Autavia on Ebay, I got an amazing Buy It Now bargain a week ago. As Jeff says, the barn finds, sock drawer finds is still out there....
I got a Carrera 12 Dato ref 2547S for a price I have not seen in many, many years...
The dial is mint under that scratched crystal. All hands are very good.
The movement is complete and looks good. Bad thing is a missing case back.
I probably logged on Ebay in the same second the watch was listed. Price was way under marked price.... :-)
The hunt will continue..... You never know what will turn up next.... Hopefully a case back...
