Next weekend is the Labor Day holiday here in the United States, marking the end of summer. It’s been an amazing summer in the vintage Heuer world, with some fantastic watches coming into view and interest in the vintage Heuer chronographs continuing to increase.

To celebrate, let’s have a themed scan weekend, to mark "The Best of the Summer, 2015".

We have a few days to prepare, so reflect on the Summer of 2015, and post photos or images about:

• your collecting priorities or themes for the summer – were you trying to fill a couple of gaps or chasing particular models or did you change directions / priorities?
• any bargains or "Barn Watches" you found or missed
• the most interesting watch you saw, acquired or wore this summer
• your favorite photo from the summer -- of a watch, your family, a vacation spot, etc.
• a favorite watch accessory you received over the summer -- winder, box, tools, etc – or even a new watch display
• a favorite photographic accessory -- new camera, tripod, lens, lighting, etc. -- or maybe you will show us your set-up for shooting
• the best book, article, blog posting, Tweet or Instagram posting from the summer
• a memorable get-together with collector friends
• an image showing something interesting that you learned about your watches, maybe a serial number or instruction manual, or a mystery that you solved.
• a special event -- birth, birthday, anniversary, etc.
