There are many different types of "original" Carreras, so I will try to give you rough estimates for a couple of the "benchmark" / representative models. For each of them, I am assuming excellent condition watch, all original, but not "mint" or new old stock; on an after-market leather strap.
With that introduction, here are a few estimates of current prices:
- early Carrera, three register manual wind, white registers on white dial . . . $1500 to $2000

- early Carrera, two registers, white registers on white dial . . . $800 to $1200
- for either of the above Carreras, if white registers on black dial . . . add 30 percent
- automatic Carrera, Cal 11 or 12 movement, white registers on blue / gray dial . . . $1500 to $2000

Bottom Line = way more than $100, way less than $10,000, and $1,000 is toward the bottom of the range for nice ones.
