Henrik (HeuerChrono) is my expert for these things!! :)
Any clue on the bezel? I am really curious about why they had such a huge change on the bezel with this model vs the MH version? And why the weird numbers (41-120)? I am not expert at Skippers or yachting type watches, but interested in learning more on how these bezels were used for tides, etc...
I will try to do more research, but if anyone else has any clue on how these bezels actually worked, please do share! :)
Cheers

: Hello Gentlemen,
: I wanted to share my new piece that I just recently acquired, and
: am very pleased with. Some of you might have seen it on my FB or
: IG, but for the rest of you, I figured, I would share. Credit to
: James (@ DB10) for an awesome bracelet that works well with this
: piece.
: I picked this Orvis Solunagraph, twin to the Heuer Mareographe,
: recently and am quite pleased by it. What I did not realize
: until I actually had it in hand, was the extra button on the
: left, which controls the tide subdial on the left. Very cool
: feature. The bezel on it seems to be different than most that I
: have seen with a MH bezel, but looking around on the net and
: also on OTD, it does seem that this is an authentic bezel to the
: Orvis Solunagraph. Not sure why this bezel is different, but
: would love to learn more if anyone might know.
