this friday my latest arrival: an Heuer Carrera 1153N 3rd execution (2nd exec. "luminous" dial with double insert hour markers, later tachy ring 60-500km/h, 2nd exec. thinner hands), pictured into the 1972 catalogue, serial 2218XX, case is really crisp and seems to be unpolished - with normal scratches but nothing serious - and dial with a great metallic "sunburst":

This popped up on Ebay on 22 September while I was lurking the web during a coffee pause as I usually do every morning, so I immediately sent my offer to the seller... fast negotiation, the seller is a Lord and sent it with a nice blue perforated strap, so I installed an Heuer buckle and since then it is on my wrist... life is strange because I always thought that this kind of Carrera were too small for my wrist, but its 39mm case at the end is well balanced and elegant, even if hasn't wrist presence like my favourite automatic Autavias... tastes change...

Love its sunburst metallic dial and that clean white subdials... IMHO an underrated reference, an Heuer you can still buy at a price below 2500 Euro...
