Putting aside any concerns about the condition of the dial, it seems to me that the market for the Monacos has gone a bit soft lately. Perhaps we are seeing some weaker samples being offered; but it seems to me that Monaco prices have been flat or gone done, across the board (blue or gray; automatic or manual).
Three to five years ago, bidders would have been bumping into each other, rushing to bid over $10,000 for this one. With the ascent of some Autavias and Carreras, the decline of the Monacos seems more notable.
Others -- please correct me, if I am wrong on this.

: Hi all,
: I'm wondering why no one is bidding on this rare bird 74033B manual
: Monaco:
: Maybe the melt gasket seen under the plexi borders?
: Or starting price is too high?
: Why the case is marked "740303"?
: I beg your perdon in advance if I'm asking stupid questions, but
: don't really know where is the matter with this watch...
: PS: I'm not affiliated with the seller....
: Thank you all.
: Best.
