: In your opinion, does the "Fab. Suisse" on the dial

I would vote for a clean dial too. I suppose if I was French then it might be nice to have one that was originally sold in France, and I think if I was a) a lady, and b) rich, then I would take a Tiffany dial over a normal one. But I am neither, so I would always take the dial in its simplest form.
