I will take a different tack... Deserve is not something for me, as a collector, to decide. I may like it or not but my like or dislike does not make much of the market.
Regarding my decision to buy a watch with or without the Fab dial I could go two ways. If the Fab really seems to make the value higher in today's market I will look for watches with Fab dials and buy them for re-sale. If I am buying a watch to keep and wear I will think about what I like more and give less of the decision over to today's market value.
Regarding how I feel about Fab...I like busy dials so...basically I like it.
