Back to the Future.. Show me your watches from 1989

I bought my IWC Ultra Sportivo in Basel where I was working in 1989. A sleek titatium case, 18ct bezel and.. a moonphase. Rubber band with titanium clasp.
Disappeared from a hotel room a few years later and was succeeded by an IWC Pilot Chrono, which I still have.

When I later researched it I found out that it had an extremely short production run due to a lawsuit from Hublot. Apparently only a handful of my particular execution were made, and that may well be true: I've only seen 1 picture of MY execution in many years of idle browsing.

pics below plucked from the web.
The PVD moonphase.. with flat white font and moon.

The titan/gold base model... image that with golden moon and lettering...

I really loved it.

So what were you guys wearing in 1989?
Jurgen
