Not only did I use log tables at school, but needed the extra accuracy of my mother's old set of 5-figure tables in my first job. The slide-rule is the one I used all through college and in my first two jobs, both on a drawing-board. My third job was in software development, which eventually allowed me to indulge myself with a Seamaster. This one had a holiday at Omega in Switzerland earlier in the year, costing more than its current value.
