agreed Darren, I do not know a correct donor watch.
I am uncertain with the engraving of the case back. Have seen these only on 2nd editions ?
there is a 1st edition 2446, serial number around a dozen further, with the usual ED. HEUER & CO SA SWISS back. Earlyer 2nd ed. too.
But perhaps peanuts with this great watch and only an observation .
