I will pass on the Hublot 01

I agree with the need for a bold watch - I confess I've been going in that direction lately too - but my money will go to an Omega Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon, which is a much better executed variation on an all-time classic design IMO, and which on the secondary market doesn't cost very much more than this "brave new world" of TAG Heuer. I hate to be the nay-sayer here but I just can't get behind this one.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, the only thing I like about this watch is the price. (Which, considering it's just a tarted-up 1887 Carrera, begins to look like less of a bargain.)
