You can always do as I did when I serviced my first watch, an Autavia. I thought : "if I will fail I will send the watch in parts to the watchmaker and will save some Euros as it is already dismantled" :-)
With a bit of luck this didn't happen but mentally I had a parachute...
But you are right, better to leave the job to the pros ad they know all the tricks coming from years of experience, mine was only a self-test to study how this movement was done...
So next chapters will be washing, oiling and reassembling - this last is easy to document, as, some steps apart, you have to read the post bottom up :-)
