WOW! What a difference a day at the spa make. Just beautiful!
: It's Friday, at least for our friends in Europe, Africa and
: Asia, so let's start the "Watch You Wearing" thread,
: with this one, recently back from the spa.
: As they say in email chains, start at the bottom . . . to see the
: seller's eBay photo the middle is my photo of the watch, as
: received from seller the top photo shows how it looks on my
: wrist right now, after its spa treatment . . . cleaning, new
: crystal, some work on the hands, etc. Expect to see a fourth
: photo soon, with a fresh new bezel. But don't worry, I'll hang
: on to the original one.
: It turns out that the movement was excellent and the dial looked
: absolutely pristine under that battered crystal. Yes, this was
: the previous owner's daily watch; might have been worn every
: day, for the last 50 years!!
: So what are you wearing today? Applied markers; Arabic numerals;
: painted markers; etc., etc.
: Thanks to everyone for another wonderful week in the world of
: vintage Heuers. Hard to believe that it started, at least for
: me, with the launch of the TAG Heuer Connected Watch, and now
: I'm back to this old Autavia!!
: Jeff
