This is tough issue to deal with on an open forum. As you said there are certain criterea or formats required by other forums in an attempt to regulate sellers & issure security within the Sales/Trade arenas but i fear this regulated format may not allow "one time" sellers to access our specialist forum. These one time sellers can potentially be someone that finds a Heuer in Grandpa's sock drawer or a lucky find at a flea market etc. If we make it tough for these people to access our sales forum then we are missing potential treasures turning up from unexpected sources.
Instead of trying to regulate the gate through which these people come through i suggest a buyers format to guarantee the potential seller is in possession of the watch. I myself have had Skype video coversations with buyers & i always offer to take photos with the watch set to 2 specific times which the buyer has requested.
This 2nd security measure ( buyer requests photos with the watch set at 2 specific times ) is very effective.
Perhaps we could ask Jeff to have that point as permenant banner at the top of the sales forum.

" A BUYER HAS THE RIGHT TO ASK THE SELLER FOR PHOTOS WITH THE WATCH DISPLAYING CERTAIN TIMES " !
