I believe that relatively few of us are methodical about searching the old shops, flea markets, and estate sales, but every once in a while there is the big reward!!

Thanks for sharing the story and the photos. I am certain that next time I walk by an old jewelry / watch / pawn shop, I'll at least look quickly for that telltale "red, white and blue" . . . well played!!
