I agree with your assessment.
The 2447 NS was launched as part of the second generation of Carreras, and these have the wider markers, with black inserts in the hands.
It appears that someone has taken a first execution 2447 N, with the thinner markers and thinner hands, and painted the registers white . . . probably the attempt to get from $8,000 to $18,000, with a few dabs of paint.
