: It's a second execution 2447N dial, with the wider, painted
: indices, but like you said has an incorrect chrono seconds hand
: and what appear to be 1st execution h/m hands, although they are
: so dirty it's tough to tell if those are even authentic for a
: first execution or the hands from the "poor man's
: carreras" I have seen a lot of lately. The sub register
: hands also appear to have been (poorly) painted. I believe a
: signed crown would be correct for a second execution, but the
: chapter ring appears to be an incorrect replacement.

Thanks ct
I would love to be able to rattle off those comments as you have!
Do you know of a good resource where I can learn more about things such as
- differences between first and second execution dial, hands
- what sub register hands should look like
- when crown became signed
- what chapter ring should look like (how do you know it is a replacement?)
Right now I refer to lots of different posts, but just wondering if there is one spot I should look to educate myself
Much appreciation!
